Kamal Kohil
Kamal Kohil (also Kamel Kohil , born December 25, 1971 in Lakhdaria , Bouira Province ) is an Algerian long-distance runner .
In 1998 he set a national record in the 20 km road race with 57:56 minutes and in 2000 a national record in the 10,000 meter run with 27: 59.64 minutes . In the same year he won bronze at the African Athletics Championships over the same distance and a year later silver at the Mediterranean Games .
At the marathon of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , he finished 23rd. In 2004 he set his personal best over this distance in 12th place in the Rotterdam Marathon in 2:13:40.
In 2006 he won the premiere of the Europe Marathon in Luxembourg.
