Kamalbazar ( Nepali कमलबजार ) is a city ( municipality ) in western Nepal in the Achham district .
Kamalbazar is located southeast of Mangalsen in the Front Himalayas . The Karnali River flows along the eastern city limits. The city of Kamalbazar was created in 2015 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees (VDC) Bayala , Bhuli , Chalsa , Dhaku , Mashtanamdali and Sera . The city administration is located in Kamal Bazar in the former VDC Bayala.

At the 2011 census, the VDCs that gave rise to Kamalbazar had 15,740 residents.
