Mangalsen ( Nepali मंगलसेन ) is a city ( municipality ) in western Nepal in the Achham district .
The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Janalibandali , Jupu , Kuntibandali , Oligau and Mangalsen . The urban area covers 139.9 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs from which Mangalsen arose had 23,150 inhabitants (10,663 of them male) in 4,747 households.
