Tōru Kamino ( Japanese 神 野 徹 , Kamino Tōru ; * July 31, 1979 ) is a former Japanese ice hockey player who won the Asia League Ice Hockey twice with the Kokudo Ice Hockey Club .

Career

Tōru Kamino began his career as a hockey player at the Kokudo Ice Hockey Club, with whom he won the Japan Ice Hockey League in 2003 and 2004 . After the league was dissolved in favor of the new multinational Asia League Ice Hockey , he won the title there in 2005 and 2006. Even after his team was renamed Seibu Prince Rabbits in 2006, he continued to play for the team. When the team, now based in Nishitōkyō , was disbanded in 2009 for financial reasons, he ended his career.

International

For Japan , Kamino took part in the Division I World Championships in 2005 , 2007 , 2008 and 2009 .

At the Winter Asian Games 2007 in Changchun , China , he won the title with his team. He also took part in the qualifying tournaments for the Winter Olympics in Turin in 2006 and in Vancouver in 2010 .
