Kamjano-Kostuwate ( Ukrainian Кам'яно-Костувате ; Russian Каменно-Костоватое Kamenno-Kostowatoje ) is a village in the north of the Ukrainian Oblast Mykolaiv with about 400 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in 1796, is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in Bratske district , which also includes the villages Kamjanopil ( Кам'янопіль ) with about 50 inhabitants, Pryshchepivka ( Прищепівка ) with about 50 inhabitants, and Pyatychatky ( П'ятих ) with about 20 Residents belong. Kamjano-Kostuwate is 17 km north of the Bratske district center and about 140 km north of the Mykolaiv oblast center .
Personalities
The actor brothers Mykola Sadowskyj (1856–1933) and Panas Saksahanskyj (1859–1940) as well as their older sister, the opera singer and actress Marija Sadowska-Barilotti (1855–1891) were born in the village .
