Kanako Noguchi ( Japanese 野 口 可 奈 子 , Noguchi Kanako ; born November 26, 1980 ) is a former Japanese biathlete .

Kanako Noguchi lives in Hokkaidō . The sports soldier , starting for the “winter combat training unit” of the ground self-defense forces , contested her first international races at the start of the 2002/03 season in Ål in the European Cup , where she only missed the podium by one place in sprint and individual as fourth place. In the further course of the season she achieved a fourth place in an individual in Obertilliach and thus for the third time her best placement in the second highest racing series. Before that, she made her debut in the highest racing series at the first station of the season and was 78th in a sprint and as the final runner with Ikuyo Tsukidate , Tamami Tanaka and Sanae Takano season 15. In Oslo she reached alongside these three with tenth place in the relay race in the further course of the season, her best relay result in the World Cup. The high point of the season and career were the 2003 biathlon world championships in Khanty-Mansiysk . In individual she was 52nd, which was also the best result of the Japanese in the World Cup, in the sprint Noguchi came in 63rd place and was with Takano, Tanaka and Tsukidate as the last runner of the season 13. After several races at the beginning of the 2003 season / In 04 she did not come to international assignments.
