The canton of Alcoche is an administrative district in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

The canton of Alcoche is one of twenty-two cantons of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Caranavi in the province of Caranavi and is located in the central western part of the district. It borders the province of Larecaja to the northwest , the province of Murillo to the southwest , the canton of Santa Fe to the south and east , and the canton of Alto Illimani to the northeast .
