The canton Kaldern was an administrative unit existing from 1807 to 1814 in the Marburg district of the Werra department in the Napoleonic Kingdom of Westphalia . The seat of the cantonal administration was Kaldern of the same name . The canton comprised 20 villages and hamlets . It had 3,313 residents and an area of 1.5 square miles .
