The canton of Weferlingen existed from 1807 to 1813 in the Helmstedt district in the Oker department in the Kingdom of Westphalia and was formed by the Royal Decree of December 24, 1807. The places Döhren, Wolfsdorf and the main town Weferlingen are long as exclaves to the right of the Aller in the Neuhaldensleben district .
