badges and flags

The coat of arms was approved on March 2, 2004 by the Magdeburg Regional Council.

Blazon : "A ringing silver bell in red, surrounded by two leafy silver linden twigs , the right with 10, the left with 9 leaves, all but one in the upper corners of the shield facing the bell."

The colors of the municipality are - derived from coat of arms and shield color - silver (white) - red.

The silver bell symbolizes on the one hand the hall church from the 17th century located in the center of the Rundling village of Döhren, on the other hand the bell inside it, cast in 1508 by the famous Brunswick bell caster Henrik Mente - according to the inscription. Since the belfry had to be demolished in 1987 due to its dilapidation, the bell was silent for 10 years. In 1997 it was hung up again in the newly built tower; therefore it is shown ringing. Thirdly, the bell stands for the connection between the community and the Mariental monastery. Like the courtyards of the Rundling around the church, the two linden twigs nestle like a circle around the bell. The 19 leaves symbolize the farmsteads that became the property of Döhren residents through the purchase and division of the former Mahrenholz manor in 1809. The linden branches are a reminder that there was a linden tree in an old parish seal.

The coat of arms was designed by the Magdeburg heraldist Ernst Albrecht Fiedler.

The flag of Döhren is striped white and red (1: 1) (horizontal shape: stripes running horizontally, longitudinal shape: stripes running vertically) and centered with the municipal coat of arms.
