Religions
In Everingen there is a church, it belongs to the parish of Rätzlingen, in the west region of the church district Haldensleben-Wolmirstedt of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .
Since Catholics had resettled in Everingen, which has been evangelical since the Reformation , as a result of the influx of expellees from the eastern regions of the German Empire as a result of the Second World War , a chapel was set up in the old school in 1967, right next to the Protestant church . In 1980 the chapel was given up again because the number of Catholics had decreased significantly. Today the church " St. Joseph and St. Theresa of the Child Jesus " in Weferlingen, about seven kilometers away, is the closest Catholic church.
