Ribbensdorf is a district of the town of Oebisfelde-Weferlingen in the Börde district in Saxony-Anhalt . Ribbensdorf belonged to the municipality of Siestedt before the city of Oebisfelde-Weferlingen was founded on January 1, 2010 and has been part of the village of Siestedt since then.

The first documentary mention of Ribbensdorf goes back to the year 1274. Older forms of the name of the place are Ricbisdorp (1274) and Ribbesdorff (1564). The evangelical village church was built before 1274; the new bell tower was completed in 1899 after the old bell tower collapsed.

Ribbensdorf was an independent municipality until 1950. On July 1, 1950, Ribbensdorf and Siestedt were merged to form the new municipality of Ribbenstedt . Ribbensdorf received the new name Ribbenstedt II. On July 2, 1991, Ribbenstedt II was renamed to Ribbensdorf. At the same time, the community Ribbenstedt was renamed Siestedt. Districts were Ribbensdorf and Klinze .

In 1869 the volunteer fire brigade was founded in Ribbensdorf and the soccer club Ribbensdorfer FC in 1911.
