Weddendorf is a district of the city of Oebisfelde-Weferlingen in the Börde district in Saxony-Anhalt .

Weddendorf is located east of Oebisfelde directly on the B 188 . There is a fishing lake in the vicinity.

history

Weddendorf was incorporated into Oebisfelde in 1994 and thus lost its political independence. From 1994 to January 1, 2005 the place belonged to the administrative community Oebisfelde, then from 2005 to December 31, 2009 of the administrative community Oebisfelde-Calvörde. On January 1, 2010, the city of Oebisfelde-Weferlingen was founded due to a municipal reform in Saxony-Anhalt. Weddendorf, as a district of the former city of Oebisfelde, became a district of the new city of Oebisfelde-Weferlingen.
