The company achieved sales of almost 380 million in the 2018/19 financial year and currently employs over 1,300 people. The head office is in Vienna , Austria . Kapsch BusinessCom , which emerged from the takeover of Schrack BusinessCom AG in 2002, is a company of the Kapsch Group . Franz Semmernegg has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since 2002 and Jochen Borenich has been Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company since September 1, 2010 .

Kapsch BusinessCom has branches in the DA-CH region and a company in Romania. The company's overall solution portfolio covers information technology , cyber security protection, media and security solutions (including digital signage and access controls ), and telecommunications . Kapsch is therefore positioning itself as an ICT service partner. In addition to system integration and continuous optimization, Kapsch BusinessCom also takes on the full operation of these ICT solutions. Kapsch relies on manufacturer independence and partnerships with globally leading technology providers such as Cisco , HP , and Microsoft, as well as a broad network of partners from research and industry-specific solution providers. Together with these partners, Kapsch acts as a consultant, system supplier and service provider for its 17,000 customers.

The earthDATAsafe is an underground high-security data center in the Austrian Kapfenberg . It is used for the secure storage of sensitive company data so that it can still be accessed in an emergency (for example in the event of a local server failure).
