Karaçay is a small town in the Honaz district in the Turkish province of Denizli . Karaçay is located about 44 km southeast of the provincial capital Denizli and 23 km southeast of Honaz. According to the last census, Karaçay had 1,253 inhabitants (as of December 2010).

The administrative area of ​​Karaçay is divided into two districts , Cumhuriyet Mahallesi and Hürriyet Mahallesi , each of which is administered by a muhtar .
