Kocabaş ( Turkish for huge head ) is a small town in the Honaz district of the Turkish province of Denizli . Kocabaş is located about 26 km northeast of the provincial capital Denizli and 10 km northeast of Honaz. According to the last census, Kocabaş had 6,559 inhabitants (as of December 2010).

The administrative area of ​​Kocabaş is divided into three districts , Cumhuriyet Mahallesi , Demokrasi Mahallesi and Hürriyet Mahallesi , each of which is administered by a Muhtar .
