Karaköy ( Turkish for black village ) is a village in the Buldan district of the Turkish province of Denizli . Karaköy is located about 73 km northwest of the provincial capital Denizli and 33 km northeast of Buldan. According to the last census, Karaköy had 924 inhabitants (as of December 2010).
Karaköy is divided into three districts. These are called Asagi Mahallesi , Karaköy Merkez and Eley Mahallesi . The districts of Asagi Mahallesi and Karaköy Merkez are about 2 kilometers apart. To get from Karaköy Merkez to Eley you have to cover a distance of 2.6 kilometers.
Each district has its own mosque. There is one primary school in Karaköy Merkez and one in Eley.
