The band was formed in 1993 and first recorded a single called Baila Gordito . Her independently produced debut album La Kulebra was released in 1995 and quickly developed into an insider tip in the reggae and ska scene in Argentina.

In 1997 the entire band moved to a house in Buenos Aires , where they set up a studio. There they produced their own music as well as that of other bands to finance the equipment. In the same year their second album Perfectos Idiotas was released , with which they laid the foundation for their national success. As a result, they toured abroad for the first time: in Chile , Uruguay , Mexico and the USA .

In 2001 the label Benditas Producciones released the follow-up album Los Guachos , which was the first to be released a year later in Germany (with Übersee Records ). Manu Chao was a guest singer in two songs on the album . This was followed by an extensive European tour through France , Germany, Austria and Denmark .

With their fourth album, Haciendo Bulla (2004), they entered the top positions in the Argentine charts for the first time ( Fruta Amarga ).
