The Karamysh ( Russian Карамыш ) is a left tributary of the Medveditsa in the Don river system in the Russian oblasts of Saratov and Volgograd .

The Karamysh rises in the Volga Heights in the Volgograd Oblast. It flows through this in an arc to the east, later to the north and finally to the west. It flows into the Saratov Oblast and flows into the Medveditsa after 147 km on the left. It drains an area of ​​3380 km². The Karamysh is mainly fed by the snowmelt . The water of the Karamysh is used for irrigation . An important tributary of the Karamysh is the Latryk from the right.
