Karawan ( Ukrainian and Russian Караван ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with about 1000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in the first half of the 19th century, belongs administratively to the rural commune of Starovirivka in the south of Nowa Wodolaha district .
The village is located at an altitude of 180 m, 10 km northeast of the Starovirivka community center , 17 km southwest of the Nova Vodolaha district center and 60 km southwest of the Kharkiv oblast center .
Territorial road T-21-20 runs southwest of the village . The village has a train station on the railway line between Kharkiv and Krasnohrad .
