Kari Henneseid Eie , also Kari Eie Henneseid (born July 2, 1982 in Porsgrunn ) is a former Norwegian biathlete who currently only competes in cross-country skiing . There she is particularly successful in the long distance in the skating technique.

Kari Henneseid Eie has been involved in biathlon since 1994. The Drangedaler started for Drangedal IL , previously for Drangedal SSL and is trained by Geir Ole Steinslett . She attended the ski school in Meråker. From 2005 to 2011 she was part of the Norwegian national team. Henneseid started in Kościelisko in 2003 for the first time and without any major success at the Junior World Championships. In Geilo she started in the European Cup for the first time at the beginning of the 2003/04 season. She finished eleventh in the sprint. In Oberhof she made her debut as 52nd in the 2005 sprint in the biathlon world cup . From then on, she kept switching between the World and European Cup. Henneseid Eie won his first World Cup points in 2004 as 28th in an individual race in Östersund . She took seventh place at the 2008 Military World Ski Championships in the individual biathlon competition, and was both military world champion in the relay and patrol team competitions. She achieved second place in the cross-country skiing competition over 10 km freestyle at the 2010 Military World Ski Championships . Henneseid Eie had her most successful season in 2010/2011 . She was used in the World Cup right from the start and achieved her best individual result to date at the individual in Pokljuka on December 16, 2010 with 23rd place. In 2012 she achieved a 2nd place in cross-country skiing in the Wasalauf in skating technique.
