Abdoul Karim Yoda (born October 25, 1988 in Annemasse ) is a French football player . He has been under contract with Karpaty Lviv in Premjer-Liha , Ukraine , since February 2019 .

Career

Yoda joined the squad of the first team that played in the Challenge League in 2006 from the youth of Servette FC Genève . In the 2006/07 season he was first used, but sat on the bench or was not in the squad. He made his debut in the league game against FC Chiasso on April 1, 2007 , when he came on for Tibert Pont in the 82nd minute . In the following games he mostly came on as a substitute. In the 3-2 defeat against Concordia Basel on April 18, 2007, he scored his first goal for Servette eight minutes before the end to equalize. On the last day of the season he started against SC Young Fellows Juventus for the first time.

In the 2007/08 season , Yoda initially only found himself on the bench and had to make do with short stints. After a few games from the start, he had to take a seat on the bench or even in the stands before he was part of the starting line-up against FC Winterthur on March 9, 2008 and did not give up his regular seat until the end of the season. In the following season he again switched between short appearances and the starting eleven, but could not maintain his place there for long.

In the summer of 2009, Yoda Servette left for first division club FC Sion . After he had started the first games of the 2009/10 season , he only came on as a substitute or was used in the second team of the Valais, which played in the first division . This changed in the second half of the season when he was increasingly back on the starting line-up. He could not win a regular place. This initially continued in the 2010/11 season. Here Yoda was able to maintain his regular place in the second half of the season before he sustained an injury in the final phase of the season and thus also missed the cup final against Neuchâtel Xamax , through which Sion was able to win the Swiss Cup.

Due to his injury, Yoda also missed the first games of the 2011/12 season . He then wavered again between the starting line-up and the bench before an illness put him out of action for a whole year in April 2012. He only returned to the team in April 2013, so that he only made seven appearances in the 2012/13 season . In the summer of 2013, Yoda left Sion and moved to the Romanian first division club Astra Giurgiu . He made his league debut for Astra on October 5, 2013. He was able to fight for a regular place and finished the 2013/14 season with his team as runner-up behind Steaua Bucharest . He then won the Romanian Cup with his team .

In the summer of 2014, Yoda moved to the Spanish first division club Getafe FC . There he was first a regular player in the 2014/15 season before he was thrown back due to injuries and only came on as a substitute. It wasn't until the beginning of 2016 that he regained his regular seat. At the end of the 2015/16 season , he had to relegate his team. He stayed in Getafe, but was rarely used afterwards. At the end of January 2017, he was loaned to league competitor UD Almería until the end of the season. After three short appearances, he injured himself again and was out until the end of the 2016/17 season . The season 2017/18 he spent as completely Players out on loan at second division side CF Reus Deportiu that determines signed him after the season.

But because of the forced relegation of Reus from the Segunda Division , he was transferred to the Ukrainian first division club Karpaty Lviv in February 2019 free of charge . His previous season appearances for the Spaniards have all been canceled.
