Karin Sander (born May 8, 1939 in Berlin ; † July 16, 2010 in Lippstadt ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, she completed a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk . In addition, she did her training to become a tax agent . Sander worked in various companies. She was married and had three children.

Sander had been a member of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany since 1983. Member of the district assembly of the district of Soest she was from 1989 to 1994 and during this time the first volunteer District Administrator of the circle. She was represented on the city ​​council of Lippstadt from 1984 to 1989. From 1989 to 1999 she was a member of the landscape assembly of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe .
