Karine Sergerie (born February 2, 1985 in Montreal ) is a Canadian Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 67 kilograms.

Sergerie came to Taekwondo through karate at the age of five . She starts for the association Kim's Taekwondo RS and is trained by her father. At her first World Cup in 2003 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , she reached the final in the class up to 63 kilograms and won the silver medal. The following year she reached the semi-finals at the Pan American Championship in Santo Domingo and won bronze. Sergerie won her first international title in the class up to 63 kilograms at the 2006 Pan American Championship in Buenos Aires and the 2007 World Championship in Beijing . She qualified for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In the class up to 67 kilograms she made it into the final with three victories and won the silver medal.

The year 2011 was also successful. First, Sergerie won another World Cup medal with bronze at the World Championships in Gyeongju , and with a final victory at the American Olympic qualification tournament in Santiago de Querétaro , she finally qualified for her second Olympic Games in London in 2012 .
