Karl-Heinz Gläser (born December 3, 1948 in Breitungen / Werra , Thuringia ) is a German sports official and former soccer referee of the German Football Association and the German Football Association .

Initially a player at Motor Breitungen himself , since 1966 referee, the trained welder and instructor for polytechnics has led 60 games in the top division of the GDR , the Oberliga, since 1983 . On June 2, 1990, he was referee of the penultimate FDGB-Pokal final between SG Dynamo Dresden and PSV Schwerin (2: 1), for the first time since 1974 no longer in the Berlin Stadium of World Youth , but in the Berlin Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn- Sports park .

After the political change in the GDR, he was classified as one of five referees in 1991 in the Bundesliga . Up until 1994 he led 29 matches in the top division of the German Football Association ( DFB ).

After completing his active referee time for reasons of age, he worked briefly as a coach in the Thuringian League . Today Karl-Heinz Gläser belongs to the referee committee of the Thuringian Football Association and, like the board of the Werra-Rennsteig district committee, is responsible for public relations. For the German Football Association (DFB) he also works as a referee observer and referee coach in the Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga .
