Karl-Heinz Klejdzinski (born January 30, 1934 in Oberhausen ) is a German educator and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school, Klejdzinski completed an apprenticeship as a federal railroad worker, which he completed with the assistant test. He then worked for the Deutsche Bundesbahn . In 1952 he joined the Union of Railway Workers in Germany (GdED). In addition to his professional activity, he attended evening high school, where he passed the Abitur examination on the second educational path. In 1956 he switched to the Bundeswehr , initially serving as a temporary soldier and later becoming an officer in the reserve.

Klejdzinski began studying educational science in 1968, which he completed in 1971 with the first and in 1973 with the second state examination for teaching at primary and secondary schools. In 1972 he passed the examination to become a qualified pedagogue, had worked as a research assistant since 1975 and had joined the Education and Science Union (GEW). In 1980 he received his doctorate with the thesis The connection between knowledge structure and learning structure: A basic problem in relation to the establishment and equipment of scientific rooms for Dr. phil.

Political party

Klejdzinski joined the SPD in 1960 and was later elected deputy chairman of the SPD sub-district Coesfeld .

MP

Klejdzinski was a member of the district council of the Coesfeld district from 1975 to 1984 . He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1980 to 1990 and from October 30, 1992, when he replaced the retired MP Heike Niggemeyer , until 1994. He was always drawn into parliament via the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was also a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the Western European Union (WEU). There he was chairman of the budget committee from 1989 to 1991.
