Karl-Heinz Zapf (born July 1, 1951 ) is a former German soccer player and coach .

Career

player

For the 1971/72 season Zapf moved to FC Bayern Hof , which was playing in the Regionalliga Süd at the time. With the club rose to the 1974/75 season in the 2nd Bundesliga South . In his first season there he was used in up to three games in every game. In the following season , Zapf was used in every game. The 1976/77 season was the same as the first season in the 2nd Bundesliga, here he was only in three games not in the squad. The same applied to the 1977/78 season , after the Zapf team was relegated. For the 1978/79 season he moved to VfL Frohnlach , where he played until 1989 and ended his career.

Trainer

Zapf was active as a trainer in the 1992/93 and 1998/99 seasons in Frohnlach and from 1994 to 1997 in Hof .
