Karl August Stupid
Karl August Blöde (also Carl August Blöde and Carl A. Blöde ; born August 14, 1773 in Freiberg (Saxony) ; † August 28, 1820 ) was a secret finance adviser, scientist and author and named after the mineral Blödit .
Blöde was the initiator of the founding of the Society for Mineralogy in Dresden , which he founded together with his brother Abraham Gottlob Werner on December 23, 1816. In 1819, Blöde also wrote the biography "Brief Nekrolog Abraham Gottlob Werner" about Werner. Blöde was also a member of the Russian Imperial Academy of Natural Scientists in Moscow and the Electoral Saxon Weimar Mineralogical Society in Jena . He had no offspring.
