Karl Donderer

Karl Donderer (born June 28, 1884 in Waldstetten , Jagstkreis , † July 18, 1976 in Obernzell ) was a German politician ( BVP , CSU ).

Life

Born into a family of teachers, Donderer studied law and political science. From 1905 to 1908 he was a camera intern in Höchstädt an der Donau , Marktoberdorf and Augsburg . In 1909 he became the royal rent office secretary in Zusmarshausen . In 1913 he moved to the district government in Speyer as the royal financial accountant . In 1915 he became a Rentamtassessor in Passau . From 1948 to 1952 he was senior government councilor and head of the tax office in Passau.

politics

Before 1933, Donderer was a member of the BVP. He sat in the Bavarian State Parliament from 1920-1924 and 1928-1932 .

In the post-war period after the Second World War in Germany , in 1945 he was one of the founding members of the Christian Social Union (CSU) in Passau and its district chairman. From October 1945 to January 1946 he was Second Mayor of Passau on the initiative of the American occupation powers . From 1952 to 1966 he was the district administrator in the Wegscheid district .

In 1957 he was appointed Knight of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Nicola Cardinal Canali and invested on April 30, 1957 by Lorenz Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy . He belonged to the Regensburg Commandery.
