Karl Eduard Meinicke
Karl Eduard Meinicke (born August 31, 1803 in Brandenburg an der Havel , † August 26, 1876 in Dresden ) was a German geographer .
Life
Karl Eduard Meinicke had been working at the grammar school in Prenzlau since 1825 , the direction of which he was provisionally transferred in 1846 and permanently transferred in 1852, and lived in Dresden since 1869, after he retired.
Meinicke was one of the most profound experts on the Polynesian island world.
