Karl Theodor Fiedler (born March 28, 1897 in Nuremberg ; † September 13, 1945 in the special camp Ketschendorf ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and SA leader .

Live and act

After attending a simultaneous school in Nuremberg from 1903 to 1911, Fiedler was trained as an engraver and craftsperson at a private drawing school from 1907 to 1911 . In the First World War , Fiedler took part with the Bavarian 3rd Spare Infantry Regiment and the Bavarian 20th Reserve Regiment. During the war, Fiedler was twice the victim of gas attacks in northern France . After the war, Fiedler was a member of the Bavarian Rescue Service.

On January 1, 1924, Fiedler joined a rescue organization of the then banned NSDAP. From 1925 to 1927 he worked in the re-admitted NSDAP ( membership number 6,978) as a local group leader. In the SA he took on tasks as standard and brigade leader until 1928. After joining the SS in 1929 , he was again promoted to at least SS-Sturmführer.

On June 1, 1933, Fiedler was appointed full-time district manager of the Zerbst district. Later, from around 1937 to 1939, he held the same position for Stendal . After 1938 Fiedler lived in Dessau .

From November 1933 until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945, Fiedler was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 10 ( Magdeburg ) . Fiedler was awarded the Gold Medal of Honor and the Silver Gau Ehrenzeichen from 1925.

After the end of the Second World War , Fiedler was taken prisoner by the Soviets, where he died in September 1945.
