Karl Fischoeder
Karl Fischoeder (also: Karl Fischöder ; born August 31, 1900 in Ingolstadt ; fallen April 25, 1940 ) was a German educator and writer .
Life
Karl Fischöder studied at the University of Munich , at the Philosophical Faculty of which he completed his dissertation in 1923 on the writer Paul Heyse under the title Paul Heyses Novellen in Versen .
Fischöder worked as a teacher with the title of teacher at a school in the city of Peine .
At the time of National Socialism he was preparing a book about contemporary woodcuts and therefore contacted the sculptor Ernst Barlach , with whom he was in correspondence several times. Fischoeder's planned monograph remained a fragment, however, as he fell on the front lines during World War II .
