Karl Friedrich Christian Hasselmann

Karl Friedrich Christian Hasselmann (born March 31, 1794 in Plön , † April 15, 1882 in Kiel ) was a German pastor and politician .

Life

Born as the son of the administrator Zacharias Hasselmann (1758–1830), Karl Hasselmann studied theology in Kiel and Göttingen . During his studies he became a member of the fraternity Holsatia Kiel in 1812 and of the old Kiel fraternity in 1813 . After his final exam in Glückstadt in 1817 , he became a pastor in Sarau in 1819, in Altenkrempe in 1832 and in 1854 at the St. Nikolai Church in Kiel, where he was chief pastor until 1866 . In 1853 he was a member of the Holstein Estates Assembly .
