Karl Friedrich Horn

Karl Friedrich Horn (born March 14, 1779 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † April 16, 1831 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer and municipal official.

Life

Horn attended the old town high school and began to study law at the Albertus University at the age of 15 . Auscultator since 1797 and trainee lawyer since 1800, he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD. He became city councilor in 1807 and mayor of his hometown in 1811. With August Wilhelm Heidemann he was in the landscape building on February 5, 1813 , when the East Prussian Landwehr was proclaimed. Mayor as early as 1814, he received the troops returning from the wars of liberation . In 1826 he was not re-elected by the city ​​council . Horn wrote important contributions to the Prussian city order . He died of a stroke at the age of 52 .
