origin

His father was Andreas Christoph von Görne (* June 2, 1674; † November 25, 1722) heir to Nieder-Gören and his wife Dorothea Luise, born von Krusemark (* March 15, 1676; † April 19, 1739).

In 1740 Görne became second lieutenant and in 1747 prime lieutenant . He then took part in the Seven Years' War , becoming a staff captain in 1756 and a captain in 1757 . In 1760 he was promoted to major and became the commander of a grenadier regiment (previously Stechow), which formed from the grenadier companies of the regiments "von Wunsch" and "von Keniz" . Görne was seriously wounded in the battles of Kolin and Liegnitz .
