Görne (noble family)
Görne (also Goerne, Gaehren ) is the name of a noble family from the Altmark .
history
The family first appeared when Ritzsicke van Görne or Ritzardus de Dalchov sealed a certificate on September 15, 1323. Around 1503/1510 the family line begins with Hans von Görne, Herr auf Dalchow and Niedergörne .
In 1375, the von Görne family owned Käthen and Schäplitz near Vinzelberg. Also Dalichow on the Elbe near Stendal and 1471 documented Hohengörne were part of their inheritance. Later the family also acquired properties in Kützkow, Plaue and in West Prussia .
In 1685 a line named “von Dalchow” (“von Dalchau”) died out. The von Dalchau line had granted the Möllendorf estate in Altmark, which was then owned by the von Görne family around 1800. Likewise, the von Görne owned the goods Herrenholz (Herrenhölzer) and Möser in Havelland and Gollwitz in Zaucheschen at that time .
On July 13, 1821, Georg Heinrich, born in 1793, natural son of the Prussian first lieutenant a. D. Georg Heinrich von Görne auf Gollwitz and Plötzin and Christiane Pemplin, together with the family coat of arms, the Prussian nobility legitimation.

- The branch line from Dalchow (Dalchau) carried the same coat of arms, but the clovers are shown on the grave plaque of lieutenant colonel Erdmann Christoph von Dalchau (1643–1679), on Möllendorf, 1: 2 and three ostrich feathers are depicted as a helmet ornament . The grave tablet of his widowed mother Sophia von Dalchau, b. von Kannenberg (1610–1688), however, still shows the deer antlers as a crest ornament.
