Carl Heinrich Aster

Carl Heinrich Aster also wrote Karl Heinrich Aster (* February 4, 1782 in Dresden , †  December 23, 1855 there ) was a military writer .

Life

Aster joined the Saxon artillery in 1796 and served as a lieutenant in the battle of Jena and Auerstedt . He then worked as a teacher at the Artillery School in Dresden. From 1808 he dealt with the reorganization of the Saxon army .

Appointed lieutenant colonel in 1831 , he resigned in 1834 and became a colonel in 1844 .

Carl Heinrich Aster was the son of Major General Friedrich Ludwig Aster and brother of General Ernst Ludwig von Aster .
