Karl Podach

Karl Podach (born November 14, 1901 in Budapest , † January 23, 1983 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Karl Podach attended a secondary school and then a technical center . He worked as a designer and office manager . From 1929 to 1933 he was mostly unemployed. In 1938 he ran a factory, and from 1941 he was again a designer and manufacturer of electrical heating devices.

After the Second World War , Podach continued to work as a manufacturer of electrical heating devices and from 1950 onwards in an emergency program. In October 1959 he moved to the Berlin House of Representatives , as Werner Matthies left parliament. Podach remained in the House of Representatives until 1963.
