Karl Pröbsting

Karl Pröbsting (born September 9, 1941 in Warburg ; † April 1, 1999 ) was a German lawyer and ministerial official .

Life

Pröbsting completed a law degree and passed both state law exams . In 1969 he was at the University of Münster with the dissertation customer protection agreements with dealers and own its antitrust judgment to the doctor of law doctorate . He then entered the higher administrative service. From 1969 to 1991 he held a leading position in the Federal Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs. From July 1991 to March 1997 he was President of the State Labor Office in North Rhine-Westphalia based in Düsseldorf .

After Wolfgang Bodenbender's temporary retirement, Pröbsting was appointed State Secretary to the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia in March 1997 . In the course of a restructuring of the ministries, he moved to the Ministry for Women, Youth, Family and Health as State Secretary in June 1998 .

Karl Pröbsting had been with Elke, geb. Frentz, married and had two sons.
