Karl Roth (born February 22, 1902 in Neunkirchen - Salchendorf ; † July 28, 1980 in Neunkirchen ) was a German entrepreneur , local politician ( FDP ) and honorary district administrator ( FDP ).

Life

Karl Roth, son of a family of craftsmen, worked as a technical employee at a company in the Ruhr area after attending a technical school and training . He was a soldier in World War II.

From 1936 to 1980 he was the owner of the Heinrichsglück company (welding device construction) in Salchendorf and partner and managing director of Bautenberg GmbH (machine and apparatus construction) in Unterwilden .

Roth was involved in the industrial development company, the German Forestry Council and the district hunting council.

He was a Protestant, married and had three children.

politics

From 1948 to 1961 he was a member of the FDP parliamentary group in the local council in Neunkirchen ; For four years he was honorary mayor in Neunkirchen. In the neighboring community of Burbach he was the official representative from 1956 to 1961.

Roth was a member of the district assembly of the district of Siegen from November 9, 1952 to March 19, 1961. He was a member of the district committee and finance committee. He was chairman of the district council and chairman of the council of Westphalia.

From December 7, 1954 to November 16, 1956, Roth was district administrator for the district of Siegen . He belonged to various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia, such as the finance committee (deputy member, 1955–1956), the constitution committee (deputy member, 1955–1956) and the building committee (1956).
