Karl screw
Karl screw (born February 27, 1847 in Kassel ; † October 28, 1917 there ) was a German judge .
Life
Screw began to study law at the Philipps University of Marburg . In 1865 he became a member of the Corps Teutonia Marburg , which reciprocated him on January 23, 1866 . In the same year he moved to the University of Leipzig . There he also joined the Corps Lusatia Leipzig . After he had passed the assessor examination in 1874, he became district judge in Lüdinghausen (1876), district judge in Witten (1879) and district judge in Altona (1883). In 1889 he came to the Cologne Regional Court as a regional judge . In 1890 he was appointed to the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court as a higher regional judge . From 1900 to 1913 he was a Reich judge at the Reich Court in Leipzig. From 1901 to 1912, screw was a member of the Lusatia board of directors. He died three years after retiring at the age of 70.
