Karl Schrempp

Karl Schrempp (born February 26, 1846 in Oberkirch ; † March 4, 1919 in Baden-Baden ) was the brewery director and founder of the Schrempp brewery .

His brewery was one of the leading in Karlsruhe. Because of his merits, he was appointed to the Commerce Council and received further honors. From 1881 to 1897 Karl Schrempp was a city councilor and member of the citizens' committee in Karlsruhe. He was a member of the Freemason Lodge Leopold zur Treue in Karlsruhe and founded the K. Schrempp Workers' Foundation .
