Karl Tolde

Karl Tolde (born March 23, 1888 in Vienna ; † June 25, 1946 there ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

After attending the elementary and community school, Karl Tolde learned the profession of gas and water pipe installer . In 1912 he came to prominence as master craftsmen independently . Later Tolde was appointed guild master of Vienna's gas, water and heating installers. From 1915 to 1925, Karl Tolde was a welfare councilor in the Viennese district of Meidling .

Also in Meidling, after the Second World War , in 1945, Tolde took over the management of the Austrian Economic Association , a sub-organization of the newly founded ÖVP. In December of the same year he became a member of the Federal Council for the ÖVP , of which he was a member until his death in June 1946.
