Karl Weishäupl
Karl Weishäupl (* 25. June 1916 in Rosenheim , † 10. October 1989 in Munich ) was a German politician of the SPD .
From 1950 to 1974 Weishäupl was a member of the Bavarian state parliament and under the state government of Wilhelm Hoegner from 1954 to 1957 State Secretary . From 1958 he was a member of the Presidium of the VdK Germany, from 1974 to 1989 he was chairman.
Weishäupl was the founding chairman of the Association for the Promotion of Wilton Park eV , which is committed to the preservation of Wilton Park , the most important conference and meeting center in the United Kingdom, which primarily stands for the promotion of German-British friendship.
