Charles of Byla
Karl von Byla , actually Carl Friedrich Ferdinand Joseph von Byla auf Wolkramshausen (born May 28, 1806 in Neisse , † October 9, 1852 in Nordhausen ) was a German administrative lawyer .
He comes from the Thuringian nobility of the von Byla family and was the only son of the Prussian captain Carl Friedrich Albrecht von Byla auf Wolkramshausen (born April 14, 1764 - November 16, 1805) and his wife Marianna Amalie Frederike von Strantz (born June 13, 1764) 1776; † 1857).
Byla completed his school education at the educational institution in Schnepfenthal , which was founded in 1784 by Christian Gotthilf Salzmann . From 1834 to 1852 he was district administrator of the Prussian district of Nordhausen in the administrative district of Erfurt in the province of Saxony .
Karl inherited u. a. the manor Wolkramshausen. On June 12, 1834, he married Antonie von Wilcke (1810–1898) in Berlin . The couple had one daughter: Antonie (born April 19, 1835 - † February 23, 1882) she married the chief forester Hans Wilhelm von Burkersroda (* January 18, 1824 - July 18, 1899) on November 20, 1855 .
