Karl von Dörnberg (administrative lawyer, 1854)

Baron Karl von Dörnberg (born October 21, 1854 in Paris , † February 15, 1891 in Saint Petersburg ) was a German administrative officer and diplomat.

Life

Karl von Dörnberg was born as the son of the electoral Hessian parliamentary envoy Philipp von Dörnberg (* August 12, 1818, † January 29, 1881) and born Hyma. Countess Knyphausen (* August 12, 1824 - May 5, 1860). His uncle was the landowner and politician Edzard zu Innhausen and Knyphausen .

After attending high school in Wernigerode he studied at the Kaiser-Wilhelm University of Strasbourg , the Alma Mater Lipsiensis and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn Law . He became a member of the Corps Misnia Leipzig and in 1873 of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1882 to 1885 he was District Administrator of the district Waldenburg , province of Silesia . He switched to the diplomatic service and was counselor at the German embassy in Tokyo . He died in Saint Petersburg .
