Kasia Smutniak
Katarzyna Anna "Kasia" Smutniak (born August 13, 1979 in Piła ) is a Polish actress and a model . She works mainly in Italy .
Life
Kasia Smutniak started her modeling career at the age of 15. In addition to her mother tongue, she is also fluent in Russian , English and Italian . A larger audience was Smutniak in the role of the 2010 Caroline alongside John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in action - thriller From Paris with Love known. On September 4, 2004, Smutniak gave birth to a daughter in Rome . The child's father was her long-time friend, Italian colleague Pietro Taricone , who died on June 29, 2010 as a result of a failed parachute jump. In 2012, Smutniak was selected to host the opening and closing ceremonies of the 69th Venice International Film Festival .
