Caserta Palace Dream from 2014 is a short film by Australian director James McTeigue based on a script by Bruce Gooch and James McTeigue. The film was produced by Gabriele Oricchio as part of a film funding program established in 2008 by the Campanian pasta manufacturer Garofalo . The Royal Palace of Caserta , built by Luigi Vanvitelli , served as the shooting location . The film was inspired during a short filming stay of the director in the castle in 1999.
