Kaspars Ikstens (born June 5, 1988 in Riga ) is a Latvian football goalkeeper . He currently plays for FC Dila Gori in the Georgian Umaghlessi League .

Career

Kaspars Ikstens played his first and second professional season at Olimps Riga , where he also played internationally in the Europa League qualification against St. Patricks Athletic before Aleksandrs Starkovs , coach of Skonto Riga , noticed him. At the beginning of the 2010 season he switched to Skonto and played, among other things, with Olimps Riga in the Europa League qualification. The opponent was FC Portadown .

For Latvia U-21 he was last goalkeeper. On March 3, 2010 Ikstens was called up for a friendly game against the Angolan national team, but was not used.
