Katharina Tasch

Katharina Tasch (born 1977 in Mühlhausen ) is a German costume designer .

life and work

Katharina Tasch studied costume design at the University of Applied Sciences for Design and Media in Hanover. From 2007 to 2010 she was employed as a costume assistant at the Schauspiel Frankfurt .

Since 2010 she has been working as a freelance costume designer - at the Munich Residenztheater , the Komische Oper in Berlin, the Hamburg State Opera and the Frankfurt Opera . In collaboration with Katrin Lea Tag , she developed the costumes for Barrie Kosky's Monteverdi trilogy at the Komische Oper in Berlin. In 2017 she designed the costumes for the world premiere of the opera Der Mieter by Arnulf Herrmann , conducted by Kazushi Ōno and staged by Johannes Erath , with whom she had previously worked in Frankfurt and Hamburg.
